Controller Diagnostics

Controller Diagnostics provide detailed information for each control unit connected on the CAN bus.

Device

Each device in the list is identified by Device ID, CAN Address, and CAN Network location.

Code(s)

Indicates if the device has trouble codes.

Message Count

Number of CAN messages the display has received from the control unit.

Use the zero button at the bottom of the page to reset message count for all devices.

Diagnostic Information

Select a control unit from the list for more detailed information.

NOTE: Display is set to Diagnostic Mode when a control unit is selected. Diagnostic Mode is removed when the control unit page is closed.

NOTE: Depending on the type of control unit, diagnostic information is displayed in either the Diagnostic Addresses tab or the Readings tab.

NOTE: For ethernet connected control units additional information is available.

Select the button next to Show to change the way that control units are displayed.

All Controllers	All control units connected to the display are shown.
Implement Bus Controllers	Only control units on the Implement CAN bus are displayed.

Machine Bus Controllers	Only control units on the Machine CAN bus are displayed.
Ethernet Bus Controllers	Only control units with an associated Ethernet connection are displayed.

Select the button next to Sort by to arrange the list according to these filters.

A-Z by Controller Name	List sorted by control unit ID.
Has Codes	List sorted by control units with trouble codes.
TLA	List sorted by control unit three-letter acronym (TLA).
