Machine Profile Self-Propelled Windrower

Machine Profile settings are important for accurate performance of John Deere AMS applications, such as AutoTrac and Section Control.

Items accessible on the Machine Profile page:

Profile Name

GPS Offsets

Header

Profile Name

NOTE: If display detects machine, some information is automatically set by machine control units.

Profile name, machine type, and serial number are displayed on General tab.

GPS Offsets

GPS Lateral Offset

Measure the lateral distance (left or right) from the center line of the machine to center of GPS receiver. This value should be set to 0.0 unless GPS receiver is offset left or right of the center line of machine. To input a measurement other than 0.0, Left or Right must be selected.

GPS In-line Offset

Measures the in-line distance from center of the front axle on the machine to center of GPS receiver.

GPS Height

Measure the vertical distance from GPS receiver to ground. Measure from the top of green portion of GPS receiver to ground.

Header

Configuration

Header Settings - Select to view or edit header settings.

Working Width

Displays the working width of the header. This measurement is configured in Header Settings.

Work Point

Measure the distance from the connection point to the point where the crop is cut.

Connection Offset

Measure the in-line distance from the front axle to feeder house face plate.

Save Settings

Select Save button to store settings from all tabs and close Machine Profile application. Selecting Save is not required when switching between tabs.

Restore Profile to Factory Defaults

Default machine profile settings are stored in machine control units. Changes to these settings are stored in the display.

To reset profile to factory defaults, select Reset Profile button.
