Utilities | Purge Prerequisites

Purge Prerequisites show which requirements are met for BrushBelt activation and any errors that are detected.

Items Accessible on Purge Prerequisites Page:

Close— closes this page without continuing with the procedure.

Purge Inactive— button appears until all the requirements are met.

Purge Ready— button appears when all the requirements are met.

Purge Active— button appears when the meters are rotating.

Purge Prerequisites:

Check Mark— indicates that the requirement is met.

Exclamation Point— indicates that a requirement is not met or that there is an error.

View Fault— opens Diagnostics | Row Unit Controller (RUC) Row Addressing to view the active fault.

Close— closes this page without continuing with the procedure.

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage to components in the seed meters. Do not operate the BrushBelts when the seed bowls are removed.

  1. Verify that the seed bowls are installed in the seed meter.

  2. Adjust the implement to meet all the requirements.

  1. If the Electric Power Generation (EPG) requirement is not met, select the toggle button to turn on the EPG system.

NOTE: The toggle button does not appear when the requirement is met.

CAUTION: To avoid injury from rotating components:

Select the Purge button. The Purge button changes from the ready state to the active state while the BrushBelts rotate.

NOTE: Purging seed from the belts is recommended at the end of the day and before extended storage. During extended storage, relieve the belt tension. (See the implement Operator's Manual.)
