Purge Prerequisites show which requirements are met for BrushBelt activation and any errors that are detected.

The implement must be raised.
The implement must be stationary.
Electric power generation (EPG) must be active (PTO engaged for the tractor power generation and hydraulics functional for the implement power generation).
Active faults must not be present for row unit controllers or motor.

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage to components in the seed meters. Do not operate the BrushBelts when the seed bowls are removed.
Verify that the seed bowls are installed in the seed meter.
Adjust the implement to meet all the requirements.

NOTE: The toggle button does not appear when the requirement is met.
CAUTION: To avoid injury from rotating components:
Keep all seed meter components in place during operation.
Shut off all seed meters and drives before cleaning or inspection.

Select the Purge button. The Purge button changes from the ready state to the active state while the BrushBelts rotate. |

NOTE: Purging seed from the belts is recommended at the end of the day and before extended storage. During extended storage, relieve the belt tension. (See the implement Operator's Manual.) |
