Diagnostics | Electric Power Generation (EPG) displays the status of the power generation system and its components.
EPG Screens— use the left and right buttons to scroll through the EPG screens. |
Left Arrow Right Arrow |
Overview Screen— shows the status of the EPG components. |
Overview Screen |
EPG Hardware/Software Screen— shows the specific identification numbers for the hardware and software on your implement. |
EPG Hardware/Software |
System Voltages Screen— shows the measurable voltages of the EPG components. |
System Voltages Screen |
Sensors Screen— shows values associated with the EPG sensors. |
Sensors Screen |
Gauges— visually display the range and current level of two important aspects of the EPG system. |
Gauge |
Gauge Indicator— moves along the gauge to show the current reading. |
Gauge Indicator |
Speed Gauge— displays the rpm of the hydraulic motor powering the EPG alternator.
Pressure Gauge— displays the hydraulic pressure for the EPG motor.
NOTE: The Speed and Pressure gauges appear with the Implement Power Generation system. The green area is the preferred level when the hydraulics are at the optimum level.
Main Bus Voltage Gauge— displays the voltage output from the EPG alternator.
NOTE: The Main Bus Voltage gauge appears with the Tractor Power Generation system. The green area is the preferred level when the alternator is operating at the optimum level.
Gearbox Temperature Gauge— displays the temperature of the EPG alternator gearbox.
NOTE: The Gearbox Temperature appears with the Tractor Power Generation system. If the indicator enters the red area, stop and inspect the gearbox. (See lubrication recommendations in the implement Operator's Manual.)
Status Indicators— show you the status of the EPG requirements needed for engagement.
Active— indicates that the requirement is met. |
Green |
Inactive— indicates that the requirement is not met. |
Gray |
Error— indicates that you attempted to enable the power generation before the requirements were met. |
Red |
Toggle ON/OFF— select to enable or disable the power when the power generation system is engaged. |
ON/OFF |
Clear Fault— select after a fault occurs to clear the fault before attempting to enable the power generation again. |
Clear Fault |
Gauges— visually display the range and current level of voltage or amperage of various components. |
