Coulter Disk

Coulter Disk provides control of the pneumatically controlled coulter disks.

NOTE: Avoid adversely affecting the downforce on the row units. Verify the downforce application on your row units after adjusting the coulter disk force.

Items Accessible on Coulter Disk Page:

Status Indicators— indicate the current Status of the coulter disk system and any errors that are detected.

Down Pressure— the slide bar provides a visual representation of the set-position value shown in the box above the positive and negative buttons. The buttons and the input box allow you to adjust the pressure.

Down Pressure

Current Position— shows the current pressure of the coulter disk setting.

Current Pressure

Minimum— position 0 applies minimum down pressure.

NOTE: Position 0 maintains a minimum air pressure in the pneumatic springs.

Maximum— position 5 applies maximum down pressure.

New Target Position— indicates that the air pressure is adjusting to reach a new target position.

New Target

NOTE: The Status indicator flashes while the system is adjusting the air pressure. See Coulter Disk in Advanced Settings to set up the leak detection feature.

Obtained Target Position— indicates that the target position and current position match.
