Closing Wheel Status indicates the current status of the closing wheel system and any errors that are detected.
Status Indicator— shows the current state of the row cleaners. The status indicators flash while the system is adjusting the air pressure.
Example: Air pressure is within 15% of the target. |
Green |
Example: Air pressure is within 15 to 25% of the target. |
Amber |
Example: Air pressure is more than 25% from the target. |

Status Message— accompanies the status indicator.
OK— indicates that the requirements are met (green indicator).
Adjusting— indicates that the system is making an adjustment to reach a new setting or to compensate for a pressure change (green, amber, or red indicator).
Pressure Low or High— indicates that the closing wheel pressure is more than 15% from the target (amber indicator).
Pressure Low or High— indicates that the closing wheel pressure is more than 25% from the target (red indicator).
Tank Pressure— indicates that the tank pressure is too low (red indicator).
Error— indicates that a sensor reading is out of range (red indicator).
Normal States— show a check mark to indicate that the air compressor tank-pressure, group pressure, and the sensors are in normal states. |
Check Mark |
Error States— show an exclamation point to indicate an error within the closing wheel system. A message appears indicating the source of the error. |
Exclamation Point |
Error State Message— accompanies the error state.
Low or High Group Pressure— indicates that the system did not reach the expected target before the adjustment timed out.
Retry— select to re-activate the attempt to reach the target pressure. |
Retry |
Sensor/Actuator Error— indicates the need to diagnose failures of the system components.
Low Tank Pressure— indicates that the air tank is not maintaining enough pressure to keep up with adjustments. Search for system leaks.
Closing Wheel Diagnostics— select to view closing wheel diagnostic information. |
