Dimensions allow the machine controllers to track the implement and adjust the response of the seed meters as you move through the field.
NOTE: When the hitch is moved while switching between narrow and wide spacing on a split-row implement, do not change the Lateral Offset Dimension. The rows are recentered when the hitch is moved.
The split rows are typically further from the tractor than standard rows. Adjust the Work Point when switching between narrow and wide row spacing.
Lateral Offset— is how both the implement and tractor centerlines are aligned. |
Lateral Offset |
Center of Rotation— is determined by the distance from the hitch pivot to the implement wheel axles.
Center of Rotation
Lower the implement while unfolded and in the planting orientation.
NOTE: When the hitch is moved while switching between narrow and wide spacing on a split-row implement, the Lateral Offset remains zero.
Select the Lateral Offset input box to enter the direction and amount of offset.
Select the Center of Rotation input box.
IMPORTANT: Measure along the centerline of the implement, not at an angle.
Measure the distance from where the implement hitch pivots near the tractor to the implement wheel axles.
