For best accuracy when using AutoPath, machine, implement, and display application setup is recommended.

Planting as Source Operation

• Measure and enter implement dimensions in Equipment Manager application.

• Set up a Virtual Implement profile if required.

NOTE: Use Virtual Implement on non SeedStar 2 and legacy implements.

• Enter implement width in rows.

• Install implement receiver and enter receiver dimensions in the Equipment Manager application.

• Establish SF3 or RTK implement receiver correction (shared signal compatible).

• Calibrate machine and implement TCM.

NOTE: Accurate TCM calibration is critical to AutoPath performance. Use the advanced TCM calibration method if possible.

• Optimize Implement Guidance pass to pass accuracy. (recommended)

• Define the Organization, Client, Farm, and Field.

• Set operation type to planting.

• Set crop type to an annually planted row crop, such as corn.

• Create AutoTrac guidance lines. Manually driven guidance lines may be used, but are not recommended.

Tillage as Source Operation

• Measure and enter implement dimensions in Equipment Manager application.

• Set up a Virtual Implement profile if required.

NOTE: Use Virtual Implement on non SeedStar 2 and legacy implements.

• Enter implement width in rows.

• Install implement receiver and enter receiver dimensions in the Equipment Manager application.

• Establish SF3 or RTK machine receiver correction.

• Establish SF3 or RTK implement receiver correction (shared signal compatible).

• Calibrate machine and implement TCM.

NOTE: Accurate TCM calibration is critical to AutoPath performance. Use the advanced TCM calibration method if possible.

NOTE: Tillage should be used as a secondary operation to define the number of rows and row spacing. Implements with a Rate Controller and older Air Carts do not support number of rows and row spacing.

• Create guidance lines using AutoPath data.
