To save a Quick Line, select the Edit button and rename the track.

Track Name - Select entry box to edit the track name.

Delete Track - Select button to delete the track.

NOTE: The current track cannot be deleted.

Duplicate - Select button to duplicate the track.

Duplicate track is available for straight tracks and AB curves.

Track Details Tab

Track Details tab displays the client, farm, and field name assigned to the track.

Field - Select the entry box to use the Fields application to select a field name.

For circle track, select track edge to add or adjust a circle track edge.

Heading - Select the Edit button to modify the track heading.

NOTE: Track heading edits are available only when using straight tracks created with the A + Heading method or the Lat/Lon + Heading method.

New heading information is stored for the existing track each time that this value is changed.

If the data is exported to John Deere Operations Center after making a heading change, the modified track replaces the existing track stored in Operations Center.

Show Tram Lines

NOTE: To enable the use of tram lines, turn on the Tram Lines Master switch on the Information and Settings page.

Tram lines are guidance lines that are highlighted in a different color to remind the operator to perform an action on that pass. For example, tram lines can remind the operator to manually turn off planter sections so seed is not planted on predetermined paths. These predetermined paths can be used for wheel rows during the season to reduce soil compaction and crop damage in the rest of the field.

Tram line spacing and tram line position are saved to individual guidance tracks. Operators can recall tram line settings when a guidance track with tram lines is selected. Changes made to tram line settings for one guidance track do not modify the tram line settings for other guidance tracks.

Show Tram Lines - Select to enable tram lines for the current guidance track. Tram lines must be enabled individually for each guidance track.

Tram Spacing - Select to modify Tram Line Settings. Tram line settings are unique to each guidance track.

Tram Spacing

NOTE: Tram spacing defaults to the Default Tram Spacing setting on the Information and Settings page.

NOTE: Tram lines are available only when using straight track and AB curve track.

Guidance Line Calculation - Select the desired guidance line calculation method.

Throughout the industry, there are different calculations used for creating straight tracks. Guidance line calculation allows the operator to create new guidance lines using the calculations from competitive systems.

Guidance line calculation defaults to the John Deere method. The operator can choose two competitive calculation methods.

This feature is only supported when creating new Straight Track guidance lines.

All methods for creating a new straight track are supported. A+B method is recommended when creating new guidance lines based on crop rows or beds that were previously made with a competitive system. Using the same A point and heading as a competitive system will not result in desired performance.

Guidance line calculation cannot be changed on previously created and saved guidance lines.

This feature does not allow an operator to import competitive guidance lines, but John Deere guidance lines using non-John Deere calculation methods can be imported and exported.

Shifts Tab

Shifts tab displays total shifts for straight and circle tracks. Select Clear Shifts to remove shifts for the current guidance track.
