AutoTrac Diagnostics

The AutoTrac icon shows four stages in the AutoTrac Status Pie.

Installed
Configured
Enabled
Engaged

Stage 1 Installed (1/4 of pie)

Steering control unit and all other hardware necessary for use are installed.

Steering control unit is detected.
AutoTrac activation or license is detected.

Stage 2 Configured (2/4 of pie)

Tracking Mode has been determined. Valid Track 0 has been established. The following machine conditions are met:

Guidance Master has been turned ON.
Guidance Track 0 has been defined.
StarFire signal is present.
Steering control unit has no active faults.
Speed is in range.
TCM message is currently available and valid.
Machine is in proper operating gear.

NOTE: Machine and software version of the steering control unit determine the minimum and maximum speeds.

Minimum and Maximum Speeds

Stage 3 Enabled (3/4 of pie)

AutoTrac ON / OFF toggle has been switched to ON. All conditions are met for AutoTrac to operate. System is ready to be engaged.

AutoTrac ON / OFF toggled ON.

Engaging AutoTrac

Stage 4 Engaged (4/4 of pie with “A”)

Resume button has been pressed, and AutoTrac is steering the machine.

Disengaging AutoTrac

Last Exit Code

Indicates why AutoTrac disengaged or why it does not engage. Exit codes first appear in a new window shade at the top of the page.
