Licenses

A license enables the enhanced features on the display. The features within the license depend on the type of license that is purchased.

Licenses are transferable between universal displays or between CommandCenter displays that are on similar machine types.

NOTE: Available licenses may be different in your region. Contact your John Deere dealer for details.

Contact your John Deere dealer to purchase licenses.

License Requirements

StellarSupport.com requires the display serial number to create a license. A CommandCenter license also requires the machine PIN.

Select the details button to view the display serial number and machine PIN.

For supported non-display hardware and software, select the details button to enter an activation code. For other control units, use the ISOBUS VT application to enter the activation code.

Apply License

To apply the license to the display, there are two methods:

Over-the-Air

NOTE: Display checks for licenses automatically when powered on.

An over-the-air license is applied automatically if the display has a wireless connection. The status of the wireless connection is shown.

Connected

Disconnected

USB Drive

If a wireless connection is unavailable, a license file can be saved to a USB drive and imported to the display using File Manager.

License Status

Select a license to view the details of that license.

Active - License is active.

Issue - There was an issue with license file delivery.

Start Date Pending - License is not available until the date shown.

Expired - License has expired.

Troubleshoot a Pending License

Date and Time

Date and time information is provided by the StarFire Receiver. Ensure that the StarFire Receiver is connected and has GPS signal.

If a receiver is not connected, manually set the correct Date and Time on the display.

John Deere Operations Center

For over-the-air licenses, ensure that the display is connected to John Deere Operation Center in File Manager. If the display is not registered, select Display Registration and follow the process to manually connect the display to the correct organization in Operations Center.

If an over-the-air license was sent before the display was registered, use the reactivate option on StellarSupport.com to resend the license.
