Vacuum provides visibility and control of the vacuum systems.

Items Accessible on Vacuum Page:

There are two operating modes with the vacuum system: manual mode and active mode. Vacuum automation is only available in the active mode.

Manual Mode:

When in manual mode, you control the vacuum using the tractor controls and (if equipped) implement valves.

Status— displays status of the vacuum system.

Automation— OFF enables the manual vacuum mode. Select the toggle button to turn vacuum automation ON/OFF.

NOTE: Switching between manual vacuum control and vacuum automation requires a tractor power cycle to complete the switch. Verify that the display powers down before re-establishing power.

Actual— screen area displays the current vacuum level for each vacuum blower on the implement.

Active Mode (Vacuum Automation):

In active mode, the implement software commands the tractor controls associated to the vacuum. You set and adjust the vacuum level on this page.

Status— displays status of the vacuum system.

Automation— ON enables the vacuum automation mode. Select the toggle button to turn vacuum automation ON/OFF.

NOTE: Switching between manual vacuum and vacuum automation requires a power cycle to complete the switch.

Procedure to Modify Vacuum Automation:

  1. Verify that your vacuum blowers are connected and mapped to the correct selective control valves (SCV) on the tractor.

  • Select Cancel to close a page without switching to vacuum automation.

  • Select Next to continue.

  • Select Back to return to a previous screen.

  1. View the current vacuum level for each vacuum blower on the implement. An up or down arrow appears next to the vacuum level when the automation is altering the level.

  1. Select a target vacuum level to modify.

NOTE: A yellow outline appears around the target being modified.

NOTE: Select the Use Common Target to apply the vacuum target to all blowers. Uncheck the Use Common Target to set separate vacuum targets for each blower.

Increase Button— increases the vacuum level by the amount entered in Advanced Settings each time the button is selected.

Decrease Button— decreases the vacuum level by the amount entered in Advanced Settings each time the button is selected.

Alternative Procedure to Modify:

  1. Use the dial on the navigation bar to adjust the value.

  • Turn the dial clockwise to increase the value.

  • Turn the dial counterclockwise to decrease the value.
