The segments of the boundary are color coded to indicate the quality of the boundary recording.
Blue segments indicate that the requirements for autonomy boundary recording were met. Orange segments indicate that the requirements were not met. |
|
NOTE: The entire boundary must meet the autonomy requirements for the boundary to be classified as Autonomy Quality and to be used for autonomous operations.
A dashed line represents a prediction of the quality of that segment of the boundary if the operator were to complete the next available action.
For instance, while recording, a dashed line connects the current point to the starting point. The dashed line changes color, blue or orange, depending on whether that segment would be Autonomy Quality (blue) or Not Autonomy Quality (orange) if the boundary were saved at that moment.
NOTE: The current point must be within 5 m (16 ft) of the recording starting point and all requirements must be met for the segment to be Autonomy Quality (blue).
When recording a boundary, the operator can use the undo button on the map to remove increments of the recorded boundary. This is especially important if the boundary quality changes from Autonomy Quality to Not Autonomy Quality while recording. That segment can be re-recorded to achieve Autonomy Quality.
When pausing recording, the dashed line connects the current point to the point where recording was paused. The dashed line changes color, blue or orange, depending on whether that segment would be Autonomy Quality (blue) or Not Autonomy Quality (orange) if recording were resumed at that moment.
NOTE: The current point must be within 5 m (16 ft) of the pause point and all requirements must be met for the segment to be Autonomy Quality (blue).
Select the Details button to view Autonomy Requirements before or while recording the boundary, or Exterior Boundary Summary when the boundary has already been recorded. |
