Autonomy Requirements

Overall Boundary Quality

The quality of the entire boundary is based on the lowest quality boundary segment.

When all boundary segments meet the autonomy requirements, the overall quality is indicated with a blue icon.

Current Boundary Quality

A green check mark icon indicates a fulfilled requirement.

A circled exclamation mark icon indicates an unfulfilled requirement.

  1. StarFire 7000 or newer receiver

  2. StarFire data retrieved

    Becomes unfulfilled if:

    1. The correction mode or base station is switched while recording.

    2. RTK-Extend (RTK-X) is disabled.

    3. Recording within 30 km (19 mi) of a geological fault line.

  3. Correction Mode must be SF-RTK/RTK or higher

NOTE: Mobile RTK is not compatible.

  4. Offset Point must match physical receiver location

If implement work point is selected, both a machine and implement receiver are required.

  5. Autonomy limits

    1. Using a machine receiver as the offset point— If the machine width is known, the lateral offset limit is half the machine width plus 1.5 m (5 ft), or 4 m (13 ft), whichever is less.

For example, if using a machine with a width of 3 m (10 ft), the lateral offset limit would be 3 m (10 ft).

If the machine width is not known, the lateral offset limit is 4m (13 ft).

    2. Using an implement work point as the offset point— The lateral offset limit is half the implement width plus 1.5 m (5 ft), or 16 m (52.5 ft), whichever is less.

For example, if using an implement with a width of 2.5 m (8.25 ft), the lateral offset limit would be 2.75 m (9 ft).

If the implement width is not known, the lateral offset limit is 16m (52.5 ft).

  6. Boundary Recording Accuracy must be 80% or higher

NOTE: Autonomous machines create a buffer zone outside the perimeter of the boundary for added safety. If you are planning to use the autonomy boundary for autonomous operations, record at least 1.5 m (5 ft) away from obstacles.

Boundary Recording Accuracy

Boundary recording accuracy: 86—100%.

Boundary recording accuracy: 80—85%.

If the Boundary Recording Accuracy drops below 80%, the recorded boundary will no longer be autonomy capable.

The following can cause Boundary Recording Accuracy to drop below 80%:

Boundary recording accuracy: Below 80%.
