The options available vary depending on the AutoPath mode:
Rows
Select Optimize for Fewest Paths to generate tracks that cover the field using the fewest tracks possible. |
NOTE: If the current operation working width is narrower than the source operation working width, the Follow Source Operation Path option is automatically grayed out.
Select Follow Source Operation Path to generate tracks that align with the source operation paths. Following source operation paths reduces compaction but may result in coverage overlap. |
Select Default to this Method to save the selection when creating AutoPath tracks for all other fields. |
Boundaries
Boundaries method generation is suitable for operations that do not require the machine to follow rows.
Select Heading Angle to generate tracks at the desired angle. |
Select Align to Boundary to generate tracks that are parallel to a boundary edge. |
Select From Existing Track to generate tracks that are parallel to an exiting guidance line. |
Track Details tab displays the field name, heading, and boundary assigned to the track.
Field displays the field name.
Heading - Select the entry box to modify the track heading. |
NOTE: Heading is only available when Heading Angle is selected as the generation method.
Track extensions are added to extend the guidance line beyond the recorded source operation when enabled. The default extensions are 20.0 m (65.6 ft). |
NOTE: Track extensions are disabled by default for sugar cane harvesters.
For all other machine types, track extensions are enabled by default.
Extension - Select the entry box to modify the length of track extensions. |
NOTE: If the value is changed, AutoPath lines are regenerated when the Edit AutoPath page is closed.
Outside Corners - Select the outside corner type: rounded or square. |
