Creating a Circle Track

Lat / Lon Method

If latitude and longitude coordinates at center of a pivot are known, enter location to create a circle track.

Latitude values range from -90 to 90. Locations north of equator have a positive value, while locations south of equator have a negative value.

Longitude values range from -180 to 180. Locations east of Greenwich, England have a positive value, while locations west have a negative value.

  1. Select latitude and longitude boxes to enter values in decimal degrees.

  2. Select Save button.

After selecting Save, a window is displayed to create a circle track edge.

Drive Circle Method

It is recommended that entire circle is driven for optimum circle center calculation. Driving more than a complete circle does not increase accuracy of calculation.

  1. Drive to desired location in field to start a circular pass.

NOTE: Machine must be moving faster than 3.2 km/h (2 mph) to record.

  1. Select Start button.

  2. Drive circle pass.

NOTE: Done button becomes available when enough of circle has been driven to calculate center point.

  1. Select Done button.

After selecting Done, a window is displayed to create a circle track edge.
