Machine profiles are configured using the Equipment Manager application. They can be transferred between universal displays. |
|
NOTE: A universal display automatically generates machine profile settings when a compatible John Deere machine is detected.
NOTE: When imported to a universal display, any machine profiles that contain a machine PIN are not visible in the Equipment Manager application. A machine profile is automatically generated when the display detects a compatible John Deere machine. The automatically generated machine profile overrides any imported profiles containing machine PINs. Imported machine profiles without a machine PIN are still visible in the Equipment Manager application.
NOTE: Imported run pages are available on the All Run Pages tab in Layout Manager.
NOTE: Some run page modules reset to default settings when imported.
NOTE: Run page modules created for ISOBUS VT implement control units appear as unavailable if the control unit is not connected to the machine.

Ethernet Device Files are collected from John Deere devices that support File Transfer Protocol and have an Ethernet connection to the display. They are used by John Deere to troubleshoot issues. |
|
When exporting Ethernet device files, select the appropriate log size:
All Logs (largest log file size) capture all available control unit logs, including both the runtime logs and the recent and setup logs. These logs are used to diagnose unexpected shutdowns of applications or control unit hardware.
Recent and Setup Logs (medium log file size) include runtime logs, as well as device calibrations and performance logs. These are used to diagnose performance or setup issues.
Runtime Logs (smallest log file size) identify system configuration details.
