Rate is recorded directly from the control unit. When a preset rate is selected, the control unit maintains that rate until the operator changes to another preset rate or a prescription.
The commanded target rate for prescriptions is determined by evaluating the prescription zones of each enabled section, the prescription Look Ahead time, and the number of metering devices (such as solution pumps or seed meters). When multiple prescription zones are split between a metered section or sections, use Multiple Zone Rate Selection to configure how the display determines the target rate for the meter.
