Radio Self Test possible issues when using RTK.
Radio Self Test needs to be performed while machine is not moving. StarFire 3000 must be in RTK mode to perform the radio self test.
Perform Radio Self Test
Select Start to start Radio Self Test.
Select End to stop Radio Self Test.
Result of last performed test appears on Radio Self Test main screen.
Number of Updates
Indicates how many times Radio Self Test was performed.
Radio Distance
Indicates distance in meters between selected radio (machine) and the radio to which the selected radio is directly linked (Base/Repeater). It is typically accurate within 30 m (0.02 mi.) for distances over 1 km (0.6 mi.). Radio perform calculatio independent of GPS receivers.
Number of Disconnects
Indicates how many times a disconnect occurred during this test.
Radio Temperature
Shows radio temperature.
Antenna Reflected Power
Measures transmitted power reflected back into the transceiver from mismatched antennas or cables, or loose connections between transceiver and antenna.
Average Noise Level
Average noise level indicates average power of background noise and interference at transceiver. Noise level value should be less than 120 dB. The difference between average signal level and average noise level should be 26 dB or more. Noise levels significantly higher than this level are an indication of a high level of interference that may degrade performance of link.
Average Signal Level
Average signal level indicates average power of received signal for attached radio. For a reliable link, average signal level should be between 35 and 106. The difference between average signal level and average noise level should also be at least 26 dB.
