Seed Spacing CV allows you to define an alarm that triggers when spacing inconsistency reaches an undesired level. Higher values indicate decreased spacing consistency. A good range for the coefficient of variation (CV) is 0.10—0.30. |
Alarm Limit |
Nuisance alarms occur even though performance is within your expectations.
Performance is outside of your expectations, but no alarm is given.
IMPORTANT: Avoid unsatisfactory results. Perform a field check to verify that the actual seed spacing matches your target. (See the field check procedure and implement adjustments in the implement Operator's Manual.)
NOTE: The CV varies due to many factors, such as the seed size, seed shape, meter setup, meter lubrication, planting conditions, downforce, and speed.
