Meter Performance Test allows you to enter parameters and view the results of a seed meter test.
Row— is the row number for the meter test.
NOTE: The implement row spacing is shown to the right of the input box.
Target Population— is the seed population for the meter test.
Test Speed— is the simulated ground speed for the meter test.
Number of Seeds— is the duration of the meter test.
Start— begins the meter test.
Abort— ends the meter test while it is in progress if all of the parameters are within specification.
Stop— appears while the meter test is in progress if any parameter for the test is beyond the sensor capability.
Test in Progress— appears on the screen when the seed meters are rotating during the test. |

Verify that there is enough seed in the row unit hopper for the test and that the seed is coated with the recommended amount of seed meter lubricant.
Raise the implement.
NOTE: Place a clean container under the row unit to catch the seed (if desired).
Activate the electric power generation system.
Engage the vacuum and set it to the level that you want during the test.
CAUTION: To avoid injury from rotating components:
Keep all seed meter components in place during operation.
Shut off all seed meters and drives before cleaning or inspection.

NOTE: The simulated distance remaining and the time remaining appear on the screen during the test.
Compare the results to your expectations. As needed, adjust the seed meter, adjust the vacuum level, or inspect and correct any mechanical problems. (See adjustment recommendations and basic maintenance procedures in the implement Operator's Manual.)
NOTE: Values outside of the limits that you set are highlighted in red. Values near your set limits are highlighted in amber.
