Lazy S-ing Motion

NOTE: Adjust steering sensitivity before adjusting other settings. It is important to have steering sensitivity at an acceptable value before adjusting other values (between 70-120).

  1. Increase Line Sensitivity Tracking and check performance.

    1. Tune line sensitivity tracking while operating on A—B line.

    2. If machine wanders too far from A—B line, adjust line sensitivity—tracking higher.

    3. If machine becomes unstable around A—B line, adjust line sensitivity—tracking lower.

  2. If system remains sluggish, increase Line Sensitivity Heading until system responds more aggressively.

    1. Tune line sensitivity heading while operating on A—B line.

    2. If front of machine wanders too far from track direction, adjust line sensitivity—heading higher.

    3. If machine becomes unstable, adjust line sensitivity—heading lower.

  3. If fine-tuning is needed, steering response rate can be adjusted. Increasing value makes system more aggressive.

NOTE: Field conditions can cause sluggish behavior, making it difficult to address.
