Track Spacing

About

Track Spacing is used in the guidance application to determine the distance between passes. Track Spacing is like Working Width, but track spacing is only used for guidance and the two values are independent of each other.

To maintain row width between passes, set Track Spacing the same as Working Width. To ensure some overlap for tillage or spraying, or to account for some GPS drift, make Track Spacing less than Working Width.

Using Track Spacing

Track spacing is measured by distance or by the number of rows and row width.

The following examples show how Track Spacing and Working Width interact:

No Gap

Track Spacing = 30

Working Width = 30

No Gap

Gap

Track Spacing = 35

Working Width = 30

Gap = 5

Overlap

Track Spacing = 25

Working Width = 30

Overlap = 5
