Implement Steering

IMPORTANT: Implement center of rotation measurement is required for proper implement guidance function. Inaccurate center of rotation measurement can cause poor performance or damage to the implement. See measure center of rotation for instructions about accurately measuring the center of rotation.

Slope Response Rate

Line Sensitivity - Tracking

Determines how aggressively AutoTrac responds to an implement off-track error.

Higher settings: Result in more aggressive response to an implement off-track error.

Lower settings: Result in less aggressive response to an implement off-track error.

Range: 50—200

Line Sensitivity Tracking Low

Line Sensitivity Tracking High

Line Sensitivity - Heading

Determines how aggressively AutoTrac responds to implement heading errors.

Higher settings: Result in more aggressive response to an implement heading error.

Lower settings: Result in less aggressive response to an implement heading error.

Range: 50—200

Line Sensitivity Heading Low

Line Sensitivity Heading High

Acquire Sensitivity

Determines how aggressively the machine acquires track. This setting only affects performance while acquiring track.

Higher settings: Result in aggressive line acquisitions.

Lower settings: Result in smoother line acquisitions.

Range: 50—200

Acquire Sensitivity Low

Acquire Sensitivity High

Curve Sensitivity

Determines how aggressively AutoTrac responds to a curve in track. This setting affects performance in curve track guidance only.

Higher settings: Turn machine in a smaller radius (tighter) around curve.

Lower settings: Turn machine in a larger radius around curve.

Range: 50—200

Curve Sensitivity Low

Curve Sensitivity High

Slope Sensitivity

Determines how aggressively AutoTrac responds to changes in slope. Too high of a value and the tractor steers the implement uphill. Too low of a value and the tractor steers the implement downhill.

Higher settings: Machine drives higher on the slope to compensate for an implement that is less resistant to sliding downhill.

Lower settings: Machine drives lower on the slope to compensate for an implement that is more resistant to sliding downhill.

Range: Range: 50—200

NOTE: This setting may require adjustment as soil conditions change.

Slope Sensitivity Low

Slope Sensitivity High

Slope Response Rate

Determines how rapidly AutoTrac responds to a change in slope.

Higher settings: Result in a more rapid response to a change in slope.

Lower settings: Result in a less rapid response to a change in slope.

Range: 50—200

Slope Response Rate Low

Slope Response Rate High
