Creating a Straight Track

To create a Straight Track, use the following methods:

A + B Method

A + Heading Method

Auto B Method

Lat/Lon Method

Lat/Lon + Heading Method

A + B Method

  1. Drive to desired location in field.

  2. Select Set A button.

  3. Drive machine to desired point B.

NOTE: Drive further than 3 m (10 ft) to set point B.

  1. Select Set B button.

  2. Select Done button.

A + Heading

A + Heading Method

  1. Drive to desired location in field.

  2. Select Set A button.

  3. Enter desired heading.

NOTE: 0.000 indicates North, 90.000 East, 180.000 South, and 270.000 West.

  1. Select Done.

Auto B

Auto B Method

  1. Drive to desired location in field.

  2. Select Set A button.

  3. Drive machine in desired direction across field.

NOTE: A distance of 15 m (49.2 ft) or longer must be driven before point B can be defined. Auto B method calculates point B from last five data points taken from the distance driven, and creates a best fit line through those points to determine a heading.

  1. Point B is automatically saved after traveling 15 m (49.2 ft).

  2. Select Done button.

Lat/Lon

Lat/Lon Method

  1. Enter latitude and longitude for point A.

  2. Enter latitude and longitude for point B.

  3. Select Done button.

NOTE: Enter latitude and longitude coordinates in decimal degrees.

Lat/Lon + Heading

Lat/Lon + Heading Method

  1. Enter latitude coordinate for point A.

  2. Enter longitude coordinate for point A.

NOTE: Enter latitude and longitude coordinates in decimal degrees.

  1. Enter desired heading.

NOTE: 0.000 indicates North, 90.000 East, 180.000 South, and 270.000 West.

  1. Select Done button.

  1. Drive to desired location in field.

  2. Select Set A button.

  3. Drive machine to desired point B.
